Lynn is president of the Cat Writers’ Association, a global organization for communications professionals whose work focuses on cats. She is the author of The Feline CEO: How Following a Cat’s Lead Can Make You a Better Business Leader and is listed in the 125th-anniversary 2023 edition of Marquis Who’s Who.
After living with cats since 1989, Lynn operated an online store from 2010-2019 to supply the needs of cats and their people. Her business book is based on what she has learned about cat behavior coupled with her own leadership experience while working in the corporate world, as an entrepreneur, and through service on many nonprofit boards
As president of Thompson Writing & Editing, Lynn has worked with authors on their books through ghostwriting, editing, and marketing services. Retired from longtime membership and leadership service in the JAX Chamber and numerous other organizations, Lynn remains a Life Member of the University of Florida Alumni Association. In November 2019, she released a second edition of her first print book, An Author’s Guide to Online Marketing. In 2023, she released An Author’s Guide to Literary Genres, Volume 1: Juvenile Nonfiction, and is currently writing volume 2 of that series, focused on the Young Adult Nonfiction genres. Lynn is available for speaking and training on the principles in her books.
