They don’t have ordinary jobs, they both work for themselves. This means that every day is an adventure, every day is different. We go to wonderful places and see new things, smell new smells and eat new food all the time - YUM!
What I get up to during the day depends on Mum and Dad. My Dad is a freelance photographer and film maker which means I get to travel to wonderful places to watch him working.
Mum is a writer who writes stories for grown-ups. She sits at her computer tapping away all day and muttering to herself. I bet her stories are great, but they’re a bit too old for me.
I love my Mum because she lets me just be me. I am the king of the castle, the garden and obviously the kitchen. Mum really looks after me. She feeds me, cuddles me, throws my toys for me and most importantly, lets me stop at every tree, flower and leaf to have a wee...
My Dad is a bit macho, he cooks a mean barbecue and he gives great tummy rubs. Dad is also brilliant for going on runs with, though he sometimes finds it hard to keep up with me!
But really it’s Mum who is the boss in our house – el jefe! After me of course!
