Best-selling author and veteran journalist, Glenn Plaskin, joined Tim in this episode to talk about his book, Katie Up and Down the Hall, which was recently released in paperback. For those of you that enjoyed Tim’s interview with Glenn in episode 3, you will recall that his book had just been released in hardback at that time. Glenn had exciting news to share with Tim in this episode as his book about Katie has recently been optioned to become a movie. In addition, Glenn gave Tim an update on his dog, Lucy. You may recall that Glenn had just adopted Lucy when the first interview was aired. Glenn also shared with Tim the response he’s received from readers of Katie Up and Down the Hall and what went into making the book trailer for the paperback release of his book. BIO:
Tracy Ahrens is a graduate of Eureka College, Eureka, Il. with a degree in English and many classes in art. Since graduation, she has been a journalist and eventually became an editor. Most recently, she wrote for a chain of 10 weekly newspapers based in the south Chicago suburbs, owned by Russell Publications. There she was also a feature story editor.
Currently she is a freelance writer for the Chicago Tribune and Tails Pet Media Group based in Chicago (www.tailsinc.com).
She also is a freelance writer for magazines and other publications.
Her professional writing memberships include the Illinois Woman's Press Association and the National Federation of Press Women.
Tracy is also the author of children's books and non-fiction books, and her poetry has appeared in chapbooks and magazines across the country.
