Betsy Rosenfeld

Betsy Rosenfeld has dedicated her life to rescuing dogs. She works with L.A.-based dog rescues as well as The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW.org), for which she serves on their regional council.  A portion of book sales goes to IFAW and its programs that help pets in the world’s poorest communities.

Rosenfeld is also an accomplished writer-producer.  Her work ranges from producing Tyler Florence Food Network show FOOD 911, and the acclaimed Sundance-feature “Grand Theft Parsons” starring Johnny Knoxville and Christina Applegate, to her latest project, Video Voter—a new media nonpartisan initiative to educate voters with short videos (www.videovoter.org).

Outside of the book Rosenfeld has combined her skills and her passion for working with dogs into www.LOVETHYDOG.com, a vibrant blog where she shares her irreverent look at the world of dogs.

Betsy lives in Beverly Hills, California with her new yellow lab Ranger, who she rescued from a local dog rescue.
