Billy Wheeler

Billy has been attending shows as a spectator and exhibitor for over 40 years. He has owned and shown big dogs (Saint Bernard), medium size dogs (Sealyham, Scottish,, and Cairn Terriers), and small dogs (Maltese and Toy Poodles).  He has been active in all breed, limited breed, and specialty clubs in New York and California. He is a retired management analyst who has advised multiple organizations affiliated with the AKC and the Cat Fanciers Association on business management, long range planning, customer service, and legislative matters. After 25 years of living in the big cities of New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, he now resides in his hometown of Memphis, TN.  He currently runs one of the most popular blogs in the dog show fancy, Dog Show Poop (www.dogshowpoop.blogspot.com)  The blog has the latest AKC dog show results (often within an hour of a shows completion), show dog rankings, analyses, and commentary.  It also has lots of news, photos, videos, inside dogs gossip, and stories of general interest to all dog owners.
