Diane R. Eigner, V.M.D.

Diane is a 1980 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.  Establishing the hospital was her life long dream.  She is a Past-President of the American Association of Feline Practitioners  (AAFP) and is also a Past-President of the University of Pennsylvania's Veterinary Alumni Board.  Diane serves on the Advisory Board of Harcum Junior College's Veterinary Technician Program and is the Consulting Veterinarian for the Morris Animal Refuge.  Committed to feline medicine, she attends over 30 hours of continuing education annually and was a fellow of the Academy of Feline medicine when it existed.  Dr. Eigner was just appointed to be the American Association of Feline Practioner's representative to the 2009 Board of Directors of the CATalyst council (www.catalystcouncil.org). Dr. Eigner will be the Chair of the CATalyst Council board of directors in 2010.  She lives above the hospital with her husband, Fred Turoff, the Head Coach of Temple University's men's gymnastics team.  Her son Evan enjoys the family's two new Cornish Rex kittens, Naui and Padi, Velvet, their Sphynx cat, their Welsh Corgi, Twinks, and their leopard gecko, red-tail boa constrictor and Russian tortoise.
