Dustin McAdams

Like you many of you, marketing executive Dustin McAdams wanted to follow his passions and change the world for the better. But how do you make a real impact? Where do you start?

His experiences volunteering with animal rescue organizations, and witnessing the powerful impact that his sister's faithful dog made in her fight and recovery with breast cancer, became the catalyst to do something completely different. Something that mattered to him.

In 2015, he and partner Bill Wilkins launched PupJoy, born of the desire to give dog parents a convenient way to treat their best friends better, and to build a model to help those in need.

PupJoy is a personalized online shopping service for dogs and their parents, providing high quality goods from socially responsible, indie manufacturers; delivered to customer’s doors via a monthly subscription service and an online boutique store.

PupJoy supports a variety of causes close to McAdams' heart, including animal rescue and breast cancer. A portion of every box purchase helps save the lives of shelter animals through a partnership with the BISSELL Pet Foundation.

The Business Journals call Dustin a Social Entrepreneur for his ability to “make a difference with charitable donations and a solid company mission”, using a profit-for- purpose business model.

Dustin has an MBA from Bradley University and has served in multiple executive roles with top marketing technology companies, along the way working with many of worlds the biggest brands. He is now using that experience to create joy, for dogs and their parents, in an innovatively sustainable and socially conscious way.
