Pancreatitis in Dogs and Cats

Dr. Kathryn Primm on Pet Life Radio

In this episode of ER VET, Dr. Justine Lee, DACVECC, DABT, board-certified emergency critical care veterinary specialist and toxicologist discusses pancreatitis in dogs and cats. Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas, and can be mild to life threatening. It can result in vomiting, abdominal pain, and even severe electrolyte abnormalities. Help avoid an emergency visit to the ER VET with your dog by not feeding your dog fattening food (like chicken bones, bacon, etc.)!
