Kamila Kingston

My name is Kamila Kingston, I am a fully qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and am a member of the AACMA, the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association.
I  have studied full-time for  over five and a half years in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as attaining valuable clinic experience in Australia and China. I have a Bachelor of Health Science Complimentary Medicine, an Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate of clinical practise in China( cert China).

I am sure you are wondering what drove me to practice acupuncture andchinese medicine on animals? It was all of my family’s pets and indeed my own cat Moby Dick that inspired me. Whenever there was a problem with them that could not be treated by a vet, I always stepped in to treat them with traditional Chinese Medicine.Moby dick challenged me on more levels than you can imagine. He was attacked by a dog and was so badly wounded the vet could not do anything but cut away all the dead tissue around him. His wounds were so extensive that they covered a vast extent of his abdomen. The vet could not believe he actually survived. I treated his weeping exterior wounds with chinese herbal medicine formulas that stop bleeding and infections. I also gave him acupuncture every day as well as chinese herbal medicine internally. He not only survived, he is 100% better thanks to the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I have also seen from my own pets how much their health is improved by taking chinese herbal medicine even if they are well. It is without a doubt the best way to keep your pet in optimum health. Many owners that show there pets may be interested to know how effective chinese herbal medicine can be to get your pets coat looking shiny and healthy, as well as benefiting their internal health.

This website is run for all of you pet lovers out there that adore your pets and have tried everything else without success or results. I have treated some of the strangest cases imaginable- like a horse that was struck by lightening and survived, for example.

As I am a very experienced herbalist I can treat many different animals and can easily identify the disease pattern and internal imbalance in TCM, from the consultation form you fill in. I am frequently asked whether I can treat various diseases and the answer is nearly always yes because we treat the disease pattern in the body, rather than just the symptom.

My interest in TCM developed from trying so many therapies, conventional and otherwise.I found that TCM got results when others didn’t. I was also very impressed at the range of disorders that can be treated with TCM.

I started treating animals as an increasing number of my patient’s started asking me if I could help with feline illness, horse illness or canine illness as their pet’s were unwell. Before long I was practising acupuncture on horses, dogs and cats as well as prescribing herbal formulas for them. Now I treat animals online only. This is  the only website in Australia that offers Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments for animals by an experienced TCM animal practitioner. As my loyal clients have been so happy with their pets’ treatment plans, many of them have urged me to help as many animals as possible which led me to start an Online Consultation Service

There is a bright future for pet health care, as alternative care and health awareness is growing rapidly and the way we approach sickness is also changing. A new revolution in how we treat modern diseases is beginning and I hope you join me and embrace a new healing experience for animals.
