Joe Panz grew up in a Queens neighborhood notorious for wise guys, where taking care of business is a way of life. Joe knows how loyal animals can be: When he was shot five times, the only one he could turn to was his Rottweiler, who stayed at his side during that long night, waiting to see if someone was coming back to try and finish the job. Today, with Rescue Ink, Joe’s just returning the favor. And he still lives by this street rule: Your life is only as good as your word.

 

At 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds, Big Ant’s not someone you even want to think about messing with. He lives hard, he rides hard, and is well-respected in the gearhead community. Big Ant customizes anything that goes, and it usually goes fast, like his 1966 Nova drag car, with more than 700 horsepower. Big Ant’s house is full of rescues, from rabbits to cats to pit bulls. And while Big Ant’s quick to kid around, watch the fuse: Once it’s lit, there’s no going back.
