A Child’s Experience Raising Newborn Puppies

Deborah Wolfe on Pet Life Radio

Deb interviews Kiara age 11, Sharea age 8 & their grandmother (age not your business!)  About the two poodle litters, the girls helped midwife and as an extra bonus they tell about their neighbor’s motherless cats they bottle fed.  The girls describe what children experience helping puppies come into the world and watching them grow and develop.  How different was the first Moyenne sired litter from their current litter of Standard Poodles both from the same mama, 45 lb.  ‘Pumkin’? What was their favorite part of the experience?  Does size matter between siblings and does it make a difference in the puppy raising? How do the parents’ sizes affect the pups sizes and why is it best that mama is similar in size or bigger than papa? Deborah adds some facts and information and essential life saving tips like how to make a cheap easy ‘piggy rail’ so pups don’t get squished.

What is the largest litter ever recorded?  MaryAlice recommends BilJac dog food for the 4-8 week stage for less poop stink. Two nights ago driving home, Deb Wolfe was chased by a bear and it collided with her Mazda took off with the hub cap and kept running faster than the car!  The bear was not hurt.   Deb’s friend, Ivan, the lion tamer and bear trainer, saw the damage and said the bear was not hurt; he said “the only thing that can hurt a bear is a bigger bear”.   Deb was not hurt, but the car?  See Deb Wolfe, pet expert on Facebook if you’d like to see what happened to the car. /www.facebook.com/debwolfepetexpert/
