Josephine Spence is an individual who has embraced various roles in her life. As a daughter, wife, and mother, she has experienced the joys and challenges that come with each of these roles. Prior to embarking on her cancer journey, Josephine had an illustrious career as a seasoned consultant and CEO in the information technology field. Her expertise and knowledge in this domain were widely recognized.

From a young age, Josephine had a passion for writing, which led her to contribute to her hometown newspaper in Chinese. However, life took her on a different path, and she temporarily put her writing aspirations on hold. Nevertheless, her passion for sharing knowledge and insights persisted, leading her to publish her dissertation on emotional intelligence and workplace resistance to change. This marked a significant milestone in her academic journey.

Continuing her literary endeavors, Josephine published her first book, "Finding Hope and Healing in Houston," which resonated with readers on a profound level. Josephine's first book has been translated to Spanish and Traditional Chinese. An audiobook will be released in the summer 2024. Inspired by the response from her readers, she felt compelled to delve deeper into the lives of her parents, whom she had briefly touched upon in her initial book. Thus, her second book, "Two Pieces of Zongzi", serves as a second installment, fulfilling the readers' request for further exploration of her family's journey.

Born in Malaysia and educated in the United Kingdom, Josephine's experiences have shaped her unique perspective on life. Currently residing in Illinois, USA, she shares her home with her husband, daughter, as well as their beloved horses and cats. Living on a small farm provides Josephine with a tranquil and nurturing environment, allowing her to find solace and inspiration amidst nature's beauty.
