Stephanie Banks – Worms: The Hidden Healers Beneath Our Feet

Genie Joseph on Pet Life Radio

In this extraordinary episode, we enter into a direct, intimate soul-level intuitive conversation with worms through world-renowned channeler Stephanie Banks.

Worms are vastly underestimated and often overlooked in how profoundly they support all life. And yet, the wisdom of worms may surprise you, as they reveal the deep compassion with which they view humans, the clarity they hold about our struggles, and the gentle guidance they offer for deepening our spiritual connection to all living beings. Worms live in the quiet delight of service to the soil. They transform and renew decay into new growth, turning what is discarded into the foundation of life. Without eyes, ears, or brains as we know them, they embody a profound form of social intelligence that allows them to function in cooperation and harmony.

They adapt fluidly to changing conditions, demonstrating an intelligence rooted not in thought, but in connection. They are true “ecosystem engineers,” shaping the very foundation of the natural world. Without worms, soil, and life as we know it, would struggle to exist.

Worms communicate and connect whether near or far, organizing through the language of the body and the soil itself. They sense their world through touch, vibration, moisture, temperature, and chemistry. When conditions shift, worms respond immediately, moving toward safety, nourishment, and balance.

In this way, information travels not as sound, but as sensation, felt signals transmitted through the living earth.
They are masters of subtle energetic communication. Through telepathic exchange, they send and receive needed information instantaneously. Worms exist in constant community, even when they rarely physically interact. Their community is not built on hierarchy or control, but arises naturally from shared conditions and mutual benefit.
In this episode, we hear directly from these humble beings as they share their understanding of silence, the shadow, and the unseen world they inhabit. Without fanfare or recognition, they are the quiet force behind healthy soil and the flourishing of life that sustains us all.

Working gently beneath the surface, they transform decay into nourishment. In this communication, they offer us humans a powerful reflection on purpose, humility, and the unseen contributions that hold our world together.

BIO:

When I was in my mid-twenties, my mother’s personality started to change. Her usual quick-witted, loving disposition turned impatient, irritable, forgetful, and insistent (that she wasn’t forgetful). I started to resent and avoid our interactions.

We hobbled along for a few years, her symptoms worsening and my tolerance waning. Finally, a team of doctors settled on an accurate diagnosis: Frontotemporal dementia. She was in her 50’s.

My mother would eventually be unable to meaningfully communicate. This much I knew from my clinical career as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

A clinical approach was not going to ‘work’ on my mother. I should know: I tried it. I had to find a different way to protect our relationship and preserve our connection.

I asked my best friend to channel my mother’s soul one night as we sat outside by a fire under the stars. Being very new to the world of channeling, I had no idea what to expect. So I clutched my cup of tea and bravely asked my questions to my mother’s soul:

What do you need from me right now?
How can we stay connected to each other through this process?
What are you gaining from your dementia experience?
My mother’s soul was eager to communicate and willingly filled in the gaps of my understanding. Her soul answered every one of my questions:

“I need you to walk with me on this journey, not ahead of me. Stay present to my reality and don’t try to force me into yours.”
“We can stay connected by being playful and silly together. I want to have as much fun as possible and there’s a lot of fun left to have.”
“You often assume that I’m disconnected and disassociated from everyone around me; but, I’m actually visiting with loved ones in other realms. It is a rich experience that I cannot explain in words.”
Through the communication of her soul, I was able to let go of old resentments and unrealistic expectations. I didn’t even have to work at it. It was as if the old narrative was simply wiped away and replaced with the truth of what her soul shared. Channeling saved our connection.

I knew I had to learn how to channel for myself. After years of study and practice, I was able to connect to my mother’s soul and began to trust our new connection. I learned to channel my children’s souls and I became a more attuned, confident parent.

I learned to channel my spirit guides and I made decisions in alignment with my soul’s purpose. I learned to channel my higher self and I lived with greater integrity and self-trust. I even learned to channel Gaia and all her precious beings (trees, animals, etc) and I became a better steward of this beautiful, living planet.

My passion for channeling led me to resign from my clinical position at a local hospital to pursue my spiritual work full-time. Now, I channel for clients all over the world and teach others how to channel for themselves. My work inspires, heals, clarifies, and transforms relationships and, ultimately, humanity.
I am committed to aligning my time and resources with my values and vision for the world. To that end, I support more than 30 organizations that are protecting life on this beautiful planet.

In my spare time, you’ll find me walking my dogs, having deep conversations with my kids and friends, sitting in my garden talking to the birds and squirrels, or enjoying delicious plant-based foods that were made with love.
