Adam Clark, LCSW, AASW is a published writer, educator, and Affiliate Faculty for the Institute for Human-Animal Connect at University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. Adam is the founder of Pet Loss Education Project and author of Animal Attachment, on Psychology Today, currently at a reader base of one million as of 2019. Adam focuses his work on the psychology behind the human-animal bond, specializing in endings and transitions. He is passionate about reducing the cultural stigma associated with pet loss, supporting pet owners, and educating Veterinary Professionals. In addition, Adam is the founder of Head, Heart & Hooves Counseling, his Equine Assisted Therapy practice located in Bend, Oregon in which Adam provides both Equine Assisted Therapy to the community and Equine Assisted Supervision workshops for helping professionals interested in therapeutic partnership with animals.
