A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Marrinson graduated from Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and has spent his entire career practicing in Central Florida.

Dr. Marrinson owns Longwood Veterinary Clinic, a five-doctor practice providing internal medicine and surgical services for companion animals.  In addition to his regular practice, Dr. Marrinson has worked extensively in emergency medicine and has special interests in soft tissue surgery, endocrinology, and practice management.

Rick is a member and past president of the Central Florida VMA and maintains active membership in the Florida VMA and the AVMA.  He has also served on the Boards of Directors for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Veterinary Emergency Clinics of Central Florida.
