Dr. Valerie Creighton

Dr. Valerie Creighton got her doctorate in veterinary medicine at UC Davis in 1984. After an internship at a large referral hospital in Los Angeles, she entered private practice in southern California, and became board certified in companion animal practice in 1991. She founded her award-winning feline-only practice, The Cat Doctor, in Thousand Oaks, CA in 1995. After several years as its treasurer, she currently serves as president of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, an organization of veterinary professionals passionate about the health and well being of cats.
