Celeste Yarnall has led a multi-faceted life. She began her career as a model, spokesperson and actress. In 1964, she won the coveted, "Miss Rheingold" title receiving 20,000,000 votes. Celeste traveled all over the Eastern Seaboard as their spokesperson making personal appearances, doing television and radio commercials and print ads as the 25th ambassadress for Rheingold Beer. Both the beer and the contest have been recently reprised in New York.

Celeste has done numerous feature films such as "Live a Little, Love a Little" opposite Elvis Presley. In the film, Elvis sings "A Little Less Conversation" to her. This song was recently remixed and became the #1 hit in twelve countries. She starred in "The Velvet Vampire" for Roger Corman and has appeared in many television shows including guest starring roles on "(Classic) Star Trek," "Bonanza," "Hogan's Heroes," "Land of the Giants," "It Takes a Thief," "Man From U.N.C.L.E.," and many others too numerous to mention. Celeste was a "Deb Star" at the Hollywood Stars of Tomorrow awards in 1967 and was the Mid-Eastern National Association of Theater Owners Most Promising New Star of 1968.

On the business end of show biz, Celeste managed several talented screenwriters, including the writer of "On Deadly Ground" starring Steven Seagal.

Celeste graces the cover of a book by Tom Lisanti entitled Fantasy Femmes of 60's Cinema, as well being highlighted in another book, Film Fatales, by Tom Lisanti and Louis Paul. She was also featured in the April 2002 edition of Femme Fatales magazine and was selected as Miss April in the 2002 "Swinging Chicks of the 60's " calendar featuring a photo of her from the film "Eve."

Between 1979 and 1993, Celeste owned and operated a commercial real estate business which specialized in assisting companies either lease or purchase their office headquarters.

In 1993, Celeste embarked on another exciting challenge - to simultaneously write a holistic healthcare book for cats entitled Cat Care, Naturally - Celeste Yarnall's Complete Guide To Holistic Health Care For Cats for Charles E. Tuttle Publishing, a prestigious Boston based company, as well as breed, raise and show ten generations of championship Tonkinese and Oriental Shorthair cats who are reared on a natural raw meat/poultry diet and supplements. Her second book, Natural Dog Care, was released in Spring of '98 along with an updated paperback version of her cat book now entitled Natural Cat Care. Both books were also released in hardback format by Castle Books.

Also in 1998, Celeste earned a Ph.D. in Nutrition from Pacific Western University where she serves as an adjunct professor of nutrition. She has extensively researched the nutritional needs of pets and discovered a cornucopia of holistic nutritional alternatives for pets. Celeste had her own radio show entitled "Celestial Pets" for Renaissance Radio KFNX Phoenix and, in October of 1999, attended the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association's annual conference (held in Kaua'i) where she was one of the guest lecturers. She was the keynote speaker at the Learning Annex's Third Annual Natural Pet Expo in San Diego March 11, 2000. She was also featured in the episode "Mimosa: Tonkinese Cat" on the Animal Planet Channel show "That's My Baby." Celeste consults on clinical pet nutrition and alternative healing therapies (including homeopathy and herbal therapies) for cats and dogs and has written articles for several pet and health publications such as Natural Pet, Animal Wellness, Body, Mind & Spirit magazines, and The Whole Cat Journal which also featured her in an article entitled "The Advice of Experts" where she, Richard Pitcairn, DVM, and Anitra Frasier answered questions relating to the "holistic care taking of our feline friends."

Celeste's dog book is endorsed by prestigious Zone author, Barry Sears, Ph.D. Dr. Sears provided an essential fatty acid recipe for cats and dogs which Celeste markets under her Celestial Pets® line of cats and dogs, supplements. Celestial Pets® distributes herbs, homeopathics, and state-of-the-art clinical nutrition supplements to both their cat and dog clients and their human friends, as all the supplements come from sources whose ingredients are made for people. Celeste tells folks, "If I can't eat or take it myself, it's not good enough for the animals!" She works closely with holistic veterinarians and frequently lectures on alternative and complimentary medicine. She has studied NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique), is a Second Degree Reiki practitioner, TAT practitioner (Tapas Acupressure Technique), and is accredited in Clinical Nutrition Therapy through the International Foundation For Nutrition And Health.

How does she do it all? She says, "I follow my own advice for pets . . . eat natural, healthful food, exercise, take supplements and antioxidants daily, and drink plenty of water . . . purified, of course. I seem to have plenty of energy left to enjoy life, spend time with my daughter and granddaughter, and travel extensively to memorabilia shows and conventions doing book signings and autographing photos.

Together with her partner, Imelda Casper, she operates a holistic consulting practice for people and their pets specializing in feline and canine nutrition. Although based in Southern California, Celeste consults with clients from all over the world. She is a member of the Tonkinese and Oriental Shorthair Breed Council, Tonkinese Breed Association, and was the founding president of Tonks West, a CFA cat club. Celeste regularly shows and exhibits her Tonkinese and Oriental Shorthair cats at CFA shows all around the Southwest region.

Her hobbies include playing the harp and practicing Tai Chi. She has dedicated her life to the health and well being of animals.
