Hi I'm Geri.
A Life Long animal Lover, I am currently owned by a Senior rescue dog named "Marty". He enters the joyous league of other rescues I have shared my life with. His distinction is that he is my first Senior dog adoptee. My interest in Senior Dogs started with my experience at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in knab,Utah.
This is an INCREDIBLE facility. The Largest No Kill sanctuary in the Country with breathtaking Red Canyons on 20,000 acres. This is the wonderful place that took in Michael Vick's Pit Bulls, rehabilitated them and placed them in forever homes. Caring for these Animals is amazing . I Volunteered first in 2014 and then was hooked.
My next Stint was with the Horses. Before Marty I had the Three Musketeers....my faithful crew for 15 years.
A Brother & Sister Pomeranian which had to be adopted together and they're protector a mixed border Collie.
A handful..Yes.
But unconditional love is amazing which helped me during a difficult time with. a Divorce and challenging health issues. I am so happy to be part of the Pet Life Radio Family and share my experiences with my "Sister" from another Mother. As a fellow New Yorker, we have shared many memories and now look forward to making more.
