Known as America’s most respected horse trainer, Charles Wilhelm is the creator of Ultimate Foundation Training, equine training techniques that combine the best of traditional, classical and natural horsemanship into a methodology that is applicable to every riding discipline. Wilhelm's extensive background includes dressage,  working cow horse, reining, western pleasure and trail. Wilhelm believes that  “it's never, ever, the horse's fault,” and his training methods reflect that belief.

Wilhelm has a weekly program on RFDTV and writes monthly columns for several national magazines. He is the author of two books including "Building Your Dream Horse," and offers an ongoing series of educational DVDs.  His facility in Castro Valley, Calif., offers extensive hands-on learning programs for every level of horsemanship, from novice through trainer.  Wilhelm gives clinics and demonstrations at national and regional venues throughout the country.
