Welcome to A Super Smiley Adventure!
In living with dogs, cats and horses, one thing I’ve learned is that if we are open to it, animals will lead us on amazing adventures! I believe animals can be healers and teachers, and with that in mind we explore every path of Pet Adventure we can find.
Whether it’s Smiley, my giant mutt, hiking across New England and inspiring an entire Flash Mob Campaign 4 Pet Adoption; Tout Suite The Travel Kitty traveling over 130,000 miles giving travel tips; or Starfire, our beautiful Arabian, leading me on inner journeys of self-discovery; my life with animals is always an adventure. Add the “happy chemicals” pets bring and a smiling dog and our show appeared!
Academy Award Nominees, Top Pet Experts, Stars for Animal Rescue and Innovative Thinkers are all on A Super Smiley Adventure.
Pets lower our blood pressure, lower our heart rates and increase our happy chemicals. We are their leaders, but if we can be open to see where they lead us, we all can begin our own Super Smiley Adventure. :)

If the Adventure of a Real Live Noah’s Arc assembly intrigues you, you can come pretty close this week! St. Francis is the patron saint of animals, and across the entire world, pets are celebrated with the St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals. Father Eddie Siebert, President of Loyola Productions in LA, joins us with his dog, Barney, to tell us all about it. Dog Heroes from across the United States are gathering in Beverly Hills to honor the Best of the Best. Last year’s winner led his blind person down endless flights of stairs to safety at 9/11. WOW! AHA began helping animals in 1877 and now has many programs including monitoring the film industry for animal care – “No Animals were harmed in the making of this film.” Smiley and I will be on The Red Carpet with Susie and Donna from the film, “Susie.” Robin Ganzert, President and CEO of the American Humane Association joins us to talk about this awesome event! Imagine a sea of 60 guide dog puppies in training at K-9 Flight School!
